I come from a long line of thrifters, rummagers, lovers of the used, champions of the old. I grew up learning of antiques from my Grandparents who even in their mid-80s had a booth at an antique store and sold at monthly flea markets. My Grandma used to get up before the sun every morning and took off for a route of estate/rummage sales and thrift stores. My visits with them are entwined with knowledge, tips and hints for life, rummaging, antiques and selling. My mom follows closely suit and calls me frequently to tell me of the treasures she has found at a rummage sale or a new thrift store she discovered. Some call it an addiction – we call it our blood, our passion.
I connect with all things that have a past, a story, an energy about them. I love all eras pre 80s – especially 50s, 60s and 70s. My husband and I try to only buy used and vintage in our lives – with a 50s style…
