Interior design is a funny business. You spend your early years trying to get it right. Afraid of breaking a set of unwritten rules. I wasn't creating so much as absorbing info. and thrilled to be in a circle of amazingly talented artisans. Traveling between Calif. and Florida, I was living on entry level pay but very happy.

I wasn't creating so much as absorbing info. and thrilled to be in a circle of amazingly talented artisans. Traveling between Calif. and Florida, I was living on entry level pay but very happy.

My next five years were spent experimenting and mixing it up. Collaborating with architects and focusing on luxury resort living.

I opened up a design studio and became very busy designing model home interiors for new home builders. We grew as a business and it was an exciting time. My job was to design 3 or 4 new home interiors that appealed to the mass market. That meant following fashionable trends. The perfect job for experimentation.

20 years later, I've seen trends come and go and come again. I'm a mom with two beautiful boys and a loving husband.

My business is much smaller and curiously I enjoy how simple my creative world has become. I like to think I've matured as an artist and learned how to trust my idea of beauty. My faviorite pieces are timeless, romantic and handsome. So here I am again, searching for the perfect piece that is sure to sooth my soul.
