I suppose I should start by explaining what WaiLoaWahine is, right? ;)

In Hawaiian, it means "Tall Water Lady". A dear friend gave me this name. I treasure it.

I love the sun, feeling its rays brush my face.
Being outside has a way of unraveling my nerves and relaxing my soul. Glory to God for such wonderment!

I love music , with all it's possibilities.

Fiddling speaks to me, and playing in a family band provides such a unique opportunity of expressing what is on our hearts.

The water. I cannot fully explain the wonder I experience whenever I come in contact with it. Growing up swimming, beaching, snorkeling, sailing, and floating...it's left an indelible mark with me. One that won't soon be erased, I'm certain. :)

I love the little things in life.
When I cook, an entire meal could be inspired by something as little as a lemon.
When I compose a song, one tiny phrase is sometimes a seed for the idea.
When I craft, I can construct an entire picture board, just by looking at one small vintage button.
When I photograph, sometimes all it takes is the quick flourish of a smile, or the whisper of the wind across the ground.
I never know when inspiration will hit me.
And THAT, my friends, is how this Tall Water Lady lives her life.

The End........for now.
