Wallace Garbel's Profile

About

I have been creating scroll saw art for the past 20 years. My work has been set up at art and craft fairs in North Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota. I am a a member of PRIDE OF DAKOTA, (North Dakota association for artists and entrepreneurs.) Much time go0es into picking the correct piece of wood for each picture I want to make. I try to make most of the items rustic being I leave the bark on the box elder wood. I t is enjoyable to see the picture once it is cut out and the first coat of finish is applied as the REAL natural color of the wood comes to the surface then. Working with wood makes the days go much quicker and gives one incentive to do more. (Thanks to clients who enjoy the work.)
