About

I am a youth who has grown from an early history of lunch-time activism, raising money from selling $1.00 miniature sculptures to my classmates and donating them to The Jane Goodall foundation. My sources of inspiration are wider than the wingspan of an albatross (<--- See? there she is, speaking field-guide again) , but most of my work comes from a rolling wave of energy generated by rock songs and the driving need that The Universe placed in Me and so many others to create endless amounts of art.

My interests are creatures other than human beings, their welfare, opera, sloths (especially three-toed ones), classic rock, rescuing bugs from the local pool, drawing, sculpting, writing, animating, pacing, and of course, doll-making.

Taking up drawing at about two years old, and sculpting at around age six, the direct origins of my doll making is associated with a book of Sally Mavor's that featured doll-making with pipe-cleaners and common sewing techniques. After a long period of metamorphasis and exploration of many different art forms, I finally combined my love of sculpting and sewing into the creation of a classy, creative, and unique style of art dolls.

I strive to continue my development as an artist and discover many new things along the way... It is important to remember the creative spirit within us all, and it is my deepest hope to inspire those unsure of their creative abilities, in a situation where they suppose they cannot continue their art, or those just beginning to realize their abilities as creative spirits.
