I have been collecting and researching vintage jewelry for thirty years. I'm always amazed by the quality and artistic design of seemingly dime store pieces. Then, there is the high end pieces that were made for the finer department stores. All have a place in history. All have a place in our wardrobes. I have noticed recently, while watching T.V. shows like American Idol and such, that the girls are wearing the bold, chunky vintage style jewelry that was so popular in the 40's and 50's. They are also wearing pearls (either necklaces or bracelets) weather they are real or faux. I am so happy to see this resurgence of the quality, vintage products from the past artists who so deserve our notice.
