I live with my husband, two kids (both off to college) and a dog. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to be a stay at home mom and am still very active volunteering at church and being on call for my elderly parents that live nearby.
My involvement with yarn started with crocheting, quickly moved to knitting and thanks to my membership at Ravelry.com (knit4fun972) got into weaving on a rigid heddle loom. I love trying new yarns, patterns, textures and making useful tools "just to see if I can". This lead to the development of the RH Pass shuttle, and now, the slim boat shuttle.
Also doing business on Etsy as RitasAntiques - http://www.etsy.com/shop/RitasAntiques?ref=si_shop. Selling China items my mother collected over the years and has passed to me.
