Since I don't do birthdays I can say with clarity that I am older than the day I was born and younger than the day I will die. That being said, I grew up fixing radios and TVs that used tubes. I am quite skilled in electronics, having taught myself how over 50 years ago.

If you are a lady and I feel comfortable in communicating with you, I may say 'my dear' or 'dear lady'. I am not being forward, I type the way I talk. I call young girls 'Lasses', teenaged girls 'Miss', boys are 'Son' and men are whatever.

I tend to be verbose when I write, and I hope witty and informative as well. On the other hand trying to draw a conversation out of me in person is like tapping a dam. I tend not to speak much, given that most people I know have made it abundantly clear they don't wish to be bothered with what I have to say. Breach that dam however, and…

Since I don't do birthdays I can say with clarity that I am older than the day I was born and younger than the day I will die. That being said, I grew up fixing radios and TVs that used tubes. I am quite skilled in electronics, having taught myself how over 50 years ago.

I tend to be verbose when I write, and I hope witty and informative as well. On the other hand trying to draw a conversation out of me in person is like tapping a dam. I tend not to speak much, given that most people I know have made it abundantly clear they don't wish to be bothered with what I have to say. Breach that dam however, and I hope you have a big enough plug to close me up again for I will chatter for hours on any subject that comes to mind. And a lot of things come to mind, usually all at once. Good Luck!

I am a voracious reader, (1000 words a minute 100% comprehension) and haunt thrift stores for books and whatnot. My books include 4 Rick Brant Electronic Adventure books. These were male teen books written in the Late 1940's early '50's and were the inspiraton for "Johnny Quest", though no one will admit it. Don't believe me?

Rick is the son of a famous scientist, lives on an island, has an ex-marine bodyguard, a Hindu friend, and gets into the oddest adventures. Yeah, now that I think about it, it sounds NOTHING like Johnny Quest. Silly me!

I have recently added, and read, a teen girl romance book from 1916 called "Our Miss York". It gives a fascinating view of America a century ago, with a strong leading woman succeeding in a man's world. File a few serial numbers off, re-issue the book and it would be just as applicalbe in today's America. There are no ham-handed sex scenes, as the author conveys affections with a glance, a touch or a witty comment rather than nipple clips and a whip.

Wow, the system hasn't nattered at me that I'm writing too much, pressing on!

I am primarily a buyer on Etsy, I have no shop for I buy what I want or need and have no desire to sell what I have. Though some times I think I should thin the herd out so to speak. I am a skilled packer, however (one of my many jobs in the military was assistant cargo master) and I can pack a great deal of stuff into a small space. Hence, do not expect to see me on any of those 'hoarder' shows any time soon.

If you managed to read this far, I trust you have been amused and informed. I bid you good health for you and your kin, peace in your heart and happiness all the days of your life.
