Luci Wilder's Profile
My mom taught me the beauty of crafting as a young girl. Later I fell in love with counted thread embroidery. I became quite adept at stitching; winning several state and national competitions, doing shows in museums and even a library. I even stitched for the 1996 White House Christmas tree, by invitation of the First Lady (that piece is now in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC and belongs to the American people.) But, nothing was ever original; I could only embellish, interpret, another's art but I never came up with my own.
In 2009 my hand turned to jewelry making and I found exactly what I want to be when I grow up... with 5 kids & 10 grandkids it's ABOUT TIME ;-)
I love making new jewelry from USA handmade, kiln-fired, lampwork beads and have a line of these wonderful pieces, which we call "Wild & Bold"…
