My mom taught me the beauty of crafting as a young girl. Later I fell in love with counted thread embroidery. I became quite adept at stitching; winning several state and national competitions, doing shows in museums and even a library. I even stitched for the 1996 White House Christmas tree, by invitation of the First Lady. But, nothing was ever original; I could only embellish, interpret another's art but I never came up with my own.

In 2009 my hand turned to jewelry making and I found exactly what I want to be when I grow up... with 5 kids & 5 grandkids it's ABOUT TIME ;-)

I love making new jewelry from USA handmade, kiln-fired, lampwork beads and have a line of these wonderful pieces, which we call "Wild & Bold".

My personal favorite line is titled "Wilder Bits" (...the missing piece). This line is originally inspired by Linda Aspenson Bergstrom, but we've made it our own. We take puzzle pieces, seal them, handwrap them in 100% sterling silver. To some we add charms and to some beads; but to all we add earwires (kind of hard to have earrings without earwires) and poof! We have something truly unique! These earrings pop and they are getting a lot of attention. Total strangers walk up to me on the street and ask where I got them. I've given a few as gifts and the recipients always tell me other people have given them cool compliments. So if you're looking for something pretty and totally unique a pair of Wilder Bits will suite you to a T. Our pendants and bracelets are an off shoot of our earrings and will be coming soon.

Our 3rd line is "Style Revisited" consisting of finding beautiful classic vintage costume jewelry and buttons then making them New Again. I keep all their original beauty and functionality while enhancing it (this is NOT repairing jewelry). Often creating pieces that you can wear both as originally intended and in a new way. I also create new "marriages" with signed beauties.
