WingsWindChimes' Profile

About

My wife and I both love art and nature. We love walking in the forest and it inspires many ideas of our art. Since I was little, I enjoyed drawing maps. Each map is hand drawn with brush pens and ink that takes up to a few weeks to a few months to complete. Most of my maps are geographically accurate and drawn to scale so they can fit together to make larger area maps. I research old maps and new satellite maps to find how the area used to look. One morning, my wife and I came up with the idea of mushroom windchimes while we were looking at our front yard and making obsidian Windchimes. Many birds were flying around our yard and many mushrooms were on ground. It reminded us of the Gnome world! I hang obsidian needles from various natural materials especially with native birds in mind, such as mushroom shape bird houses, chola and driftwood for birds' perching. "Wings create wind and wind moves wings." Our wind chimes have a natural peaceful sound created by both "Wings and Wind."

While our creation kept expanding, we decided to combine two business; "Forgotten Times Maps" and "obsidian Wings and Windchimes" into "Forgotten Times Crafts" in 2015. We hope we can keep creating "one of a kind" hand crafted products that you can enjoy and enrich your life with!!
