About

We are a husband and wife team who are retired and finally getting to enjoy our passion for woodworking. My husband has been woodworking pretty much his whole life. We have been doing it together for over 20 years. We collaborate together on projects then my husband does the cutting and assembling and I do the painting and finishing. There is no place we would rather be than in our shop.

Our shop is primarily wood, both hardwood and pine that, and I either paint or stain but I have been branching into garden flowers and 3 tiered trays. This comes from my haunting yard, garage, estate sales, etc. I keep finding this wonderful vintage items and I just had to repurpose some of them.

Hardwood items include shelves, candle holders, coasters, utensils and boards for all uses, i.e. cutting, carving, bread, cheese and sushi just to name a few. People often say our boards are too beautiful to use but they are rugged and strong and made to be used. Fashioned with hand picked hardwood primarily from Pennsylvania but also various exotic lumbers. They are glued with Titebond III glue, which is not only the strongest glue available but it is also food safe. They are then sanded and finished by hand with a with a custom blend of mineral oil, carnauba wax, and beeswax to not only seal and protect the wood but providing a beautiful hand rub sheen.

Other items include our Love Chunks and painted and stained shelves to put them on, amusing signs, painted terra cotta pots, tiered tidbit trays using china and pottery plates and bowls.

We hope you enjoy our shop and thank you for stopping in to take a look.
