About

When I moved to New Mexico from Washington DC with my husband in 1994, it didn’t take me long to realize that the dry desert climate wasn’t exactly great for the skin. In my free time, I began to explore the art of making lotion. Unfortunately, I met with little success – lotion just wasn’t quite the right medium for what I had in mind. I wanted to create a product line to nourish and heal dry skin problems, rich in nutrients. As it turned out, my formulas were a little too rich, often turning out to be thick and buttery in texture. Eventually, I had my “light bulb” moment: what I really needed to make were creams. With that detail sorted out, I discovered I had a talent for mixing herbal infusions with exotic oils.

The result was a popular line of herbal creams.

Now, more than twenty years later, my line Ye Ole Kitchen Witch body care products has grown tremendously. From herbal creams to lip balms to facial masks (and a whole host of other goodies!), my goal with each product is always the same: to create something to nourish the body and to luxuriate the senses. From the beginning, I have committed myself to quality – all of my ingredients are carefully chosen and all of my formulas have been carefully adjusted to assure satisfaction. Every day I learn more about herbal and aroma-therapeutic remedies, and I apply this knowledge to each and every product I create. Because I make everything from scratch, I can always answer any questions about my products and advise my customers accordingly. I believe in being as connected to my work as possible, so that you, the customer, can experience the care that goes into every single thing that I make.

Thank you for visiting Ye Ole Kitchen Witch here on Etsy, and I hope you enjoy your stay!
