Happy Cetta's Profile

About

I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia. I loved to explore the countryside and go on adventures with my dogs.

My first experience in art was in elementary school, finger painting, and getting messy. (When you see me, you will understand.)

I moved to Delaware at age 15, life opened up, not being confined in the rural countryside anymore I started to visited museums and
learn about art, I became fascinated by the impressionist movement. I fell in love with Van Gogh; the swirls, the colors, they are so alive.
I painted my first canvas in oil when I was 16. I admit I had no idea what I was doing but it was a present and I loved painting. After, I got a book on painting and taught myself how to paint and build stretchers for canvas…

About

I moved to Delaware at age 15, life opened up, not being confined in the rural countryside anymore I started to visited museums and

I painted my first canvas in oil when I was 16. I admit I had no idea what I was doing but it was a present and I loved painting. After, I got a book on painting and taught myself how to paint and build stretchers for canvas.

Time went on and I enrolled in the Art Institute of Philadelphia for Graphic Design. In Philadelphia, I loved exploring the
architecture of Old Philly as well as taking train trips to New York and exploring Miami. I switched from oil to acrylic paint and started to
explore other mediums.

I feel I am a renaissance women, I love to create in whatever I see. Woodwork, fabric, glass, food, whatever I can find or dream up, I have no limits.

Today I live in Denver Colorado. I am working in glass, dye and fabric. When I go out biking whether it is to clear my head or just
exploring the city, you will see me looking around taking pictures, laughing and
saying hi to new people, sometimes I feel like
I'm a tourist in my own city. But I'm just enjoying the world and all it has to offer.
I travel all over to be inspired by wonderful people and beautiful landscapes.

There is a story behind each piece, a place that inspired greatness in my heart.
Happy Cetta fulfills me. I get to create something, something someone like you, will love and cherish. Whether it is roving to spin or felt, sock yarn to knit
or an Auntie Cetta baby cover to protect the little one you love so dear, its all apart of me. Lets inspire the world together and keep story telling
alive.
