About

I have been living in Las Vegas for most of my life. My husband John and I have a home in the southwest area near the beautiful Red Rock mountains.

My earliest memories are of making things or planning to make things. My mother was very crafty, I loved to watch her create projects and usually she would teach me how to make one myself.

About

I have been living in Las Vegas for most of my life. My husband John and I have a home in the southwest area near the beautiful Red Rock mountains.

My earliest memories are of making things or planning to make things. My mother was very crafty, I loved to watch her create projects and usually she would teach me how to make one myself.

In 2008, like many folks, little by little my income and my enthusiasm diminished to the point that I was searching for a new creative outlet. My love of sewing kicked in and I decided to make all my own clothes for a year. It was a fun project and I learned a lot.

I was still painting into 2011 but yearning to make something more three dimensional, more fun, so I woke up one morning and started drafting a pattern for rag dolls. At first I wasn't sure about my decision, but as I started seeing the creative possibilities it became more and more intriguing.

I'm still experimenting and drafting up new patterns, and loving the looks on kids faces when they receive a new doll!
