Beeswax is great! It is eco-friendly, cleans the air as it burns, has a really subtle honey essence and makes a fantastic finish on wood and metal. I could go on and on...beeswax is drip free, burns with a very bright flame and for a very long time, and it is bacteria resistant!

The other part of this creative adventure is that it is a joy to take photographs of the varied bumble bees, honey bees, and wild bees as they pollinate the vegetable garden each year. I use my photographs in making the cards and labels for the candles.

Please check out Your Beeswax again; I hope to periodically include lip balms, vintage bee items, and hand forged candle holders. Yes, I am learning some blacksmithing techniques. It is so much fun!
