Hello & thanks for stopping by!

My name is Amy and I love to learn new things & create. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts with emphasis in sculpture, but I found that as soon as I left school and moved across the country (just to see what it was like) it was too difficult & expensive to keep casting things in bronze, too messy and loud to carve things from logs and I no longer had access to the great sea of throwing wheels & power tools that came with my tuition...so I started the search for "my" medium. My name is Amy and I love to learn new things & create. You just can't beat the versatility of *me, a hook and a skein of yarn* being all that's needed to create something beautiful! There's something very satisfying about turning a humble *string* into a functional item - a piece of clothing, a bag, or some funky accessories - the possibilities are endless!

So do check in frequently, because you never know what I'm going to come up with next. Who knows how long this yarn thing will last? Maybe I'll be able to build (with my own two hands) that free-standing, light-filled studio in my backyard soon and then I can set up my kiln or pull out those wonderfully smelly oil paints again, or....

Thanks for your interest & happy shopping!
