About

When I was young, I spent the summers with my grandmother who owned a clothing store. I couldn't always spend the day at the store, so I went to my aunt's house where I would cut out pictures of the models in the J.C. Penney and Sears Catalogs and make paper dolls. Auntie made me glue using flour and water. I would cut out clothes for the dolls and paste them on to cardboard, my version of the store mannequins. This started my love of paper and mixing color and design and I am still going, cutting and pasting on my wooden chests. They each have a unique story all their own.
