Abodewell is about living abundantly with less.

I like finding art in the everyday, literally and figuratively. Much of my art and design work is inspired by the recycled objects that I discover on the streets of my local neighborhoods (Silverlake, Echo Park, Los Feliz) in the Northeast side of Los Angeles, and moreso where I live in Atwater Village, where I'm constantly surrounded by the sights and sounds of Griffith Park and the horse stables that line the (mostly flowing) LA River.

Using recycled objects is now a global concern but since I was young, I've had an innate curiosity about the life of objects that I find; where they came from, who they belonged to, and what they meant to them.

The previous life and history of an object can be transformed and reused to continue telling its story and I consider myself to not only be part of the story but to be a storyteller through my art and design work.
