About

Hi! I'm Tashina. I'm an avid reader and lover of books, and the Kindle has given me even more flexibility. When it comes to hard copy book vs electronic book, just remember, a book is a book.

Making Kindle covers started as a personal project just because I wanted something special to cover my prized new device. I love my Kindle. I love that it allows me to carry around practically my entire home library, and read whatever I'm in the mood for, rather than just what I happen to have in my bag.

I'm also a collector of books, and I highly value books themselves. It was my thoughts on the importance of books that shaped my policy on how to create my covers. I only use upcycled materials. About

My covers are made from damaged hardback books that can no longer function as readable copies. I have arrangements with my local library, thrift shop, and half price bookstore to purchase damaged copies so I'm never destroying a readable book.

Those copies are then cleaned and the bindings reinforced. I line them with soft fleece to protect your device, and rivet elastic straps to keep it secure. The smooth side of the rivet is what sits against your device, to protect it from scratching. Finally, to give a truly beautiful product, I use dustjackets with interesting pictures or popular authors for the outside of the cover. This leaves a flawless, book-like appearance!

You end up with a beautiful, durable, interesting, and protective cover for your device, created without depriving the world of a work of literature. All covers include an attached strap to keep the cover closed, and many have an inside pocket, or an additional strap to add a notebook and pen!

I have a listing for custom covers if you would like one to house your USB cable or SD cards. If you have a book or dustjacket you'd like made into a cover, I can definitely help you with that, just sent me a message!

This is a selling account for my etsy shop, I do all my buying under the account Trillianna.

Have a great day!
