I am Joseph Welch and my wife is Joelyn Welch. We both love to create things and have 30 + years combined in various forms of art.

I Started in photography at the age of about 10 and by 16 I was regularly "going out to photograph" I've done a lot of nature photography and later in college Lansing Community College/Institute of Photography majored in commercial photography/ Advertising.

I worked in a busy portrait studio while I finished art school and then moved to Ann Arbor and worked at University of Michigan in a photo and graphics department. I did a lot of not very creative scientific photography but also had the opportunity to work on lots of Annual reports, promotional materials for various departments in the university as well as became involved with digital imaging, networking & computing.

After about 10 years I went back to school and got a business degree in Management of information technology. Then through contacts I ended up in a Network Operations Center for ANS/UUnet/Worldcom (many mergers). During this time I mainly kept art in the background to use it as stress relief.

Now I am back at it and working as a freelance architectural photographer and following my love of art and trying to share it with others here on Etsy.

I still hold a networking job at HP working to help manage the expansive enterprise network at Bank of America.
