When I got my BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design I used to process sheets of film and hang prints to dry. Now I am a likely candidate for carpal tunnel. I am thankful to have learned photography before digital was readily available, but I absolutely love the ease and immediacy of the digital medium. It also allows me to be more aggressive in the image making process.

I have tapped maple trees, burned a field on Easter Sunday, and extracted a bee hive from the wall of a church in Equinox, PA. If I explained in depth each experience, I don't imagine it would be very interesting. Likewise, with my photographs, I hope to begin a story that can expanded upon by the viewer.

As a still photographer, I have had work published in Rolling Stone Magazine, Smart Money, Travel & Leisure Golf and Elle Magazine. I began working in video with a friend of mine. We've since had videos published to the websites of Reader's Digest, Fast Company and The Smithsonian Institute's National Portrait Gallery.
