My deep appreciation for handmade things began as a young girl, where both of my parents frequently worked in a creative forum. Many of my mother's projects I observed, learned, and participated in with her ~ these skills were not only acquired, but live on as many fond memories of my childhood.
Discovering new, beautiful gemstones, beads, and other dear or precious materials continually sparks my creativity and fuels my imagination in the creation of new designs.
Designs develop and flow when the mind is ready - creativity cannot be forced. Only after one idea is completely explored and fulfilled do I find I can move onto the next idea, and then immerse myself in learning and perfecting a new design and technique.
