About

Hello,

Welcome to Patty's Crafty Corner! I am a graduate from Clemson University. After graduating I moved to the beautiful state of Alaska. I lived there for 2 years with my husband who was a member of the US Army. Over the years we moved to Georgia and Kansas until tragically my husband was killed in Iraq. I then moved myself and our 3 kids to Virginia to start another new life and adventure on our own. With my kids being so little (5,2 and 4 months) when my husband died I wanted to stay at home with them as long as possible to be there whenever they needed me. Now that they are all in school I have some time to do something for myself in between the laundry, dishes, vacuuming, volunteering at school and running between dance, baseball and all their other socializing they are involved in. I started making aprons as a present for my oldest daughter when she was two years…

About

I started making aprons as a present for my oldest daughter when she was two years old. 10 years later she has outgrown the original apron, but it has been passed down to her brother and sister and still in very good shape. With the encouragement of my family and my husband's family, after creating many as gifts, I have decided to try to do what I enjoy and sell it. Hoping that I can earn some extra income as the kids activities get more expensive and do a little something for myself while still being able to stay at home with the kids and be there for them.

I hope you enjoy the items in my shop. They were all hand made with love and hope.
