About

I'm a vet tech working out of my little cabin in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. I'm headed to vet school this fall, and the animals I encounter during my work and studies inspire me to create the needle-felted animals you see here. I work mostly in wool, which is dry-felted (often around a wire armature) with a sharp, barbed needle. This allows me to create three-dimensional shapes with a whimsical personality all their own.
