My name is Alina Hayes. I started working with clay while I was studying Fine Art at the School of Visual Arts in New York, which is where I am from originally.In 2006, I’ve discovered a passion for throwing pottery at the Burbank Art Center when my husband and I moved to California.I am enjoying the slightly slower pace of Los Angeles,but could never bring myself to leave the city life completely. I am a city girl I guess.
One of the people who inspire me endlessly, is my very first pottery teacher Veronica Ferrantelli,who is an amazing artist. I could not have excelled without her constant encouragement. Another one is my husband,who truly supports me in my clay adventure.
We currently reside in West Hills with our dogs Auggie and Mops, where I spend time creating in my home studio. I find inspiration and strive to achieve a balance between nature and modern/contemporary design.I have taken the plunge and have…
