About

My name is Alexandra VandeGrift, and I have been working with glass since I was 15 years old. It all started out with a dream to make beautiful things and a modest set up to lampwork glass. Since I started, I have been fortunate to experience a lot in the glass community, including... learning from some of the best bead makers in the country, enjoying three sessions at Penland School of Craft on work study scholarships, attending Salem Community College for two years and attaining a degree in Scientific Glass Technology, and showcase my work at some amazing bead and jewelry shows and a handful of galleries on the east coast.

I live and work in Seattle, Washington.

I love what I do, and I hope you enjoy my work. Glass has been the focus of my life and I would not have it any other way. If you have any questions regarding my glass or jewelry, please do not hesitate to ask. Every bead I sell is handmade by me, in my own studio.
