About

I live in Wisconsin where they say is boring, but I find beauty and interesting things everyday. There's not too much that beats the beautiful fall colors of the trees in October around here.
I love crafts, of any kind. In grade school it was making friendship bracelets and tie dying (lots of others I'm sure I don't remember!), in high school it was painting, then I started making necklaces about 7 years ago and it just stemmed from that. I got a sewing machine a few years ago and I use it as much as I can. I make clothes and purses, I love to patchwork fabrics. I also love to applique. I also lampwork glass beads and pendants with a torch, and have been doing that around 3 years. I use a Hot Head torch and am working on saving up to start the duel-fuel torch setup and work with borosilicate (hard) glass. Right now I work with Moretti, Effetre, and Lauscha glass. I knit and crochet, for some reason I like to knit better. I've also started making fimo polymer clay beads. I find it's very similar to the way glass behaves when molten... except a lot less hot of course! :D
I have a lot of interests, and am always coming up with new ideas for things. I usually have around 5-10 projects in process at once (at least). I just love to create. And to be able to share that with the rest of you is a dream! :D
