About

Since an early age I have always been fascinated with arts and crafts. I always felt amazed to see that with a bit of paint and a brush, an artist could create so many beautiful pieces of art, just like magic! I am from Brazil, and it was there that I started experiencing different forms of art. I learned how to paint porcelain, paint on canvas, crochet and did some pottery.
I was married in Brazil, in 1978, and moved to the US. Here I was in heaven when I discovered craft stores. I continued taking craft classes. I did ceramics, cake decorating, balloon decor, scrapbooking and gift baskets. In the year 2000, I went to Brazil to visit my family and I saw magazines on Cold Porcelain, also known as Biscuit. Needless to say, it caught my attention! Curious to learn more about Cold Porcelain (CP), I attended several classes with various artists, wich lead me to travel a quite few times to Brazil and Portugal, in search of more techniques and ideas in the arts of Clay. I have been working with CP for ten years and there is so much more to do with this clay. It is so magical, and that is how the name Magical Clay USA was created!

I have been happily married for 32 years to a very supportive husband and together we have three wonderful sons. I am very grateful for all the blessings that I have received from God. This is just a little bit about me.

Blessings,
