Amos Trout Paine's Profile

About

Hello! My unique name leads me to seek others that are individuals as well. Being naturally outgoing- not much choice when you are about 6'4 and lanky- I talk to nearly everyone I meet. Name-tags and tattoos are great ice breakers also. I love to communicate both with my words and with my art.
This is why Etsy has been so amazing, I connect with new individuals, and share ideas, and my art. I strive to keep my art like my sense of humor, at first it appears direct, but as you look at it, you will see subtleties and underlying elements that pull it together.

As far as traditional,
I have a BFA from Pratt Institute, (Highest Honors, Senior Speaker- etc.) and a Masters from University of Massachusetts.
But what really has taught me is my daily discipline of making painting or drawing for each day. And although sometimes I fall behind I always catch up. No joke- I am up to over 3300 paintings and drawings.
