I have been doing the jewelry since 2007 when I started my Cherries Jewelry. I have sold many items at craft fairs and flea markets. I love to work with the gemstones and buy most of mine at shows were I can see it and inspect it before I purchase. This gives me very nice stones and a good price so that those savings can be passed on to you. I use mostly silver and gold plated beads as the cost of solid gold and silver drives the price of my pieces extremely high.

The crocheting I have done since I was a child. I am taught by my Great Aunt and I still occasionally enjoying crochet. Everyone I know has a afghan so time to put them out for sale I guess. There are only so many afghans one person can use. :)

Candle making is fairly new to me. I have been making candles for about three years. I use mostly reclaimed or recycled wax. Usually it is the candles that people never burned but had become dingy and dinged and ended up at some yard sale somewhere. I do use some new waxes and some burned candles. I clean the wax as best as I can but occasionally you may see a small speck here or there. This does not affect the burn of the candle and I figure what it saves the earth, one can tolerate a slight imperfection. I do scent my candles and they do give off a fair amount of aroma.

Soap making is my newest hobbie having started into it just a couple of years ago. My extended family loves the oatmeal soap and insist I make it each Christmas as part of their gift. My personal favorite is the lavendar Shea Soap.

I hope you enjoy your visit to my store and will stop by again and again just to see what I am creating next.

Indulge yourself or someone you love.........give them something from Cherries!
