About

Animalsandicons really began about 12 years ago when I was falling in love
with my wife Kathy. She lived at the time in an artist community
bordering the Palisade State Forest. I would come visit from New York City where I was living in an East Village shoebox apartment. My wife and I now live in the Deep Woods of North Carolina with 4 cats, 2 dogs, a Great Blue Heron (that stalks our creek for minnows) herds of deer (that forage these woods for snacks,) squadrons of hummingbirds (April - Oct) and more birds than one could hope to catalog.

We make our pendants and necklaces in honor of these divine animal spirits and beings which we have the privilege of walking alongside on this planet. Our hope is that our pendants are as meaningful to you on your journey as they are to us.

Our thanks to Lynn of www.pineweaver.etsy.com
for encouraging and inspiring us to write our story for you all.
