Hello welcome to my shop; "Then and Now, Original Artwork Pieces" so named because of the art pieces that I have made in the past and pieces I will display in my shop now.
I have been a stain glass and mosaic artist since the 1970's under the instructions of my sisters Winnie and Lee; both stain glass artists; Lee also is a wonderful mosaic artist from Rhode Island.I am looking forward to adding Lee's (Ouiji) work in my shop.

I have enjoyed writing books; I have also published 3 children's books. I believe writing is a way to express myself after having seven children and fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. My books are fiction for children The titles are;" The Old Apartment Building," the story of an young African American family living in a poverty-stricken neighborhood in the city of Chicago. My next book is, The "Mystery of The Big Bone", this is a tale of two dogs; friends and the adventure they have trying to find the lost bone. "The Last Days of Summer" is an adventure story. Two children and their grandmother go in search of a treasure. My book are for children of all ages.

I have enjoyed working on mosaic that include children at play. I have combined a collection that I named "Children at Play"No matter the size, color region children are from; abilities or disabilities children love to play together and have fun.this what I enjoy displaying in my mosaics.
