About

People often ask me how I began to make hats. It all began with an obsession for recreating a time gone by when beauty was something that lived in our everyday lives. People often ask me how I began to make hats. It all began with an obsession for recreating a time gone by when beauty was something that lived in our everyday lives. At 19 I bought my first hat and forced myself to find the courage to wear it. I was amazed at the reaction. Busy people stopped to smile,or offer a friendly, "Nice Hat!" and strangers held doors open for me. I was hooked. I love so many different aspects of hat making and play with them all, but I have become known for my polar fleece and organic jersey hats. I try to recreate a vintage, classic millinery feel in a very modern hat.

Shipping and returns:
I ship by Canada post, regular airmail. If you are in a hurry for your hat and do not mind paying extra for expedited shipping please let me know. Two weeks from shipping is a reasonable amount of time to expect your hat, but times can not be guaranteed because the package must pass through customs. There is rarely a delay at customs, but it does happen.

Refunds: If you are not happy with your hat I will gladly take it back as long as it is postmarked within 7 days of receipt and in good condition. I can not refund shipping costs.
