Sarra C.'s Profile

About

Sarra C. is a self-taught artist & crafter from California, Texas, and Florida. She escaped to Florida at a young age, but found it not to her liking. Fleeing the sun westward, from Colorado to Oregon, finally finding a nest site in lovely rain-shrouded Seattle. It proved to be the perfect place to indulge her irrepressible need to collect all manner of ephemera and shiny found objects, as well as her ever-blooming love for Joseph Cornell. Here, at last, she could develop her whimsical mixed-media craftlings in the proper degree of shade. Now, with a brood of unruly artifacts clamoring for new homes, she has sought out a venue to find adoptive families for her works. Pendants, necklaces, bracelets, rings, collages, clocks, tiles – these are just some of the items she has to offer the world.

I love wearable and functional art, and the last year has seen me branching out into collages and assemblages. I'm always captivated by some new material or art process, so I tend to go through art-making phases.
I love buying other people's art, too, second only to making my own.

I would love to arrange trades for items!
