About

After working as an assistant in a pottery studio in high school, I took my first wheel throwing class in college and fell in love with making functional pieces for the hand and table--things that are useful, things people hold and touch that become a part of daily life. When I'm not making pots, I work full-time in the outdoors as a gardener, so I spend about half my life covered in earth and dirt of one kind or another; my second skin. If you can't find me in the studio or the garden, I'm probably in the kitchen cooking up things that grew from dirt too!
