Hi! I am Kristina, I've been a silversmith for 6 years and I just moved to Montana from Santa Barbara, CA. I make quality artisan jewelry primarily with sterling silver and vibrant natural stones. Most of my pieces are quite petite, which is my personal preference for jewelry. I try to be in my studio as much as I can, honing my techniques to be a better silversmith. My goal is to someday, in the near future, become a goldsmith and carve pieces in wax!

I try to be as environmentally conscious as I can, as jewelry making requires the removal of pieces of the earth which can have devastating consequences. Most of the metal I use is at least partially recycled and the remainder comes from low impact mines. I limit use of consumables, use non-toxic pickle and other chemicals, re-use and recycle household items destined for the trash and use recycled metals as much as I can.

I am a member of the Montana Arts Council Artrepreneurship program! Montana is a very, very special place steeped in rich traditions ~ this program not only helps art-business owners run a tight ship, but also allows us to fully embrace being an artist and being from Montana concomitantly.
