All patterns have been developed by me. I change my patterns to accommodate the size, shape and quantity of each scrap material. This pattern process can be slow and challenging…but, I love it! I welcome the creative challenge because the results are unique and one of a kind.

Most materials I use are new salvaged pieces, unless I decide to dip into my collection of second- hand materials for re-purposing, and up-cycling, which in this case… the materials are pre-washed.

I take great care in the sewing quality of each garment. All seams are safety stitched with my 4 thread industrial overclock machine.

Birth place: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Earliest Childhood Memory: "Mom, can we buy this? ….No!!!... I can make it for you!!!

Earliest Creative Influences:
1. Father (Expert in Wood Crafts)
2. Mother (Hobby sewer, painter and more)
3. Brother (Artist extraordinaire in everything!!!)
4. Grandma ( Seamstress, papertole, knitting and more )

Earliest Sewing Experience: Sewing Barbie cloths at the age of 7 from my Mom and Grandma's scrap materials…hence; my mother didn't want to spend money on store bought doll cloths.

High School Years: I developed a passion for vintage and appreciation for second-hand clothing. Often deconstructing, altering, and refashioning garments to suit my taste.

Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba: Studied graphic design, drawing, and painting. I focused on ceramics, functional pottery, and ceramic sculpture.
