About

As a teen in high school, I understand how it is to not be able to afford a lot of things. I'm a junior this year, going into my senior year, and I'm sure you all know how expensive your senior year is. You have to pay for yearbooks, dances, graduation fees, your cap and gown, and college applications. Oh my! All of this can get overwhelming. That's why I'm here for you! My goal with Jazzy Junk is to create home decor and Jewelry for teens and young adults at prices that the average person can afford. I am saving up to buy a new clarinet for my graduation present, and possibly a tenor saxophone if I can swing that. I plan to attend Troy University (Go Trojans!) and major in music.

I'm a junior this year, going into my senior year, and I'm sure you all know how expensive your senior year is.

I suppose I've always had a creative side. When I was little, my great grandmother gave me a bunch of old Christmas popcorn tins full of crafting supplies. I sat on her livingroom rug with my hair in pigtails and glued and pasted to my heart's content. Since that moment, I can remember loving everything about crafting. My grandmother later tought me how to sew. My mom taught me how to use a sewing machine. Google taught me how to be more creative. Ha! Just kidding on that one. Only a little.

I am hopelessly obsessed with damask prints, brights colors, bunny rabbits, cityscapes, decorative paper, jewelry, clothes, and creative ways to organize things.

The name "Jazzy Junk" came from the furniture part of my business; I love to find unexpected treasures at local thrift stores (whoo, small businesses!) and give them new life. I also love making custom orders. It's so cool to capture someone's personality with an item.

I currently have my items displayed in a local shop, Lather and Lace, Inc. (a BEAUTIFUL shop in Melrose, FL), and I plan to venture out and add them to a few other businesses. Right now, my jewelry is in seriously high demand. One day I will list an item through etsy and the next, it's sold locally! Get it before it's gone, literally!
