Thank you, D Home, for honoring me with "Best Aprons" in the spring issue of your magazine.
Thank you, D Wedding, for featuring two of my muslin aprons on a full page in your spring issue 2010 that will be reprinted throughout the year.
I still wear an apron every day and hope my designs bring inspiration to others.
My credo, taken from Louis Sullivan, is "form follows function" and that's the way I approach the anatomy of an apron. A gardener's apron holds a different set of tools than a cook's or a painter's so the design of it revolves around how it is used.
My aprons are handmade to fulfill a purpose and make a statement about the individuals wearing them. They are well made to stand the test of time.
