About

When we built our dream house with a wrap-around porch in 1989 in the crook of two dry creek beds, surrounded by trees- black walnut, elderberry, cottonwood and eucalyptus- I began to refer to my new home as 'Arbor Creek'. Having used the same name for our private home school for many years, I thought it natural to carry the identity over to my venture into Artisan Jewelry.

I was blessed to have been raised by a creative and artistic mother, who's own mother, my grandma, was also a gifted artist. So I have always drawn and painted and crafted: art just 'happens'. Always. No matter what season of life I have been living.

I've been creating, repairing and up-cycling jewelry for nearly 40 years. In fact, I still have my very first needle-nose pliers and wire cutters, 'borrowed' from my father's tool bench oh, so-long ago. I have been happily married for the last…

I have been happily married for the last 30 years, and as a wife and mother of three, most of my life has been invested in raising a family. Now that my children are young adults, I am making time to develop and market my work.

I love to try new things, and when an inspiration takes nest in this head, I can hardly rest until I have created it. *sigh* I have experience working with numerous mediums, including fine silver, sterling silver, precious metal clay, wire wrapping, pearls, semi-precious stones and beads.

I also enjoy helping another person work out their own ideas and favorite styles in order to bring their inspired jewelry dream to life. Pictures, photos and sketches can be e-mailed and refined quickly and very effectively. Have an idea? Just ask!
