I love all things vintage. Since I was a child, at least two weeks every summer are spent in a tiny town in Oklahoma with my Grandparents. My Grandmother and I spend our days cooking, baking, playing yahtzee, and sharing stories over very weak coffee. We have made beautiful memories that I will always cherish.
These experiences have given me an appreciation for anything with a past. Items that have been loved or neglected, all conceal their own story. First editions, that have been in a box or on a shelf for half a century remaining unread, and pyrex bowls that have mixed cakes and cookies for birthdays and holidays. It’s a romantic notion I know, but people have enjoyed these things in years past, and will continue to enjoy them, from generation to generation.
