About

I have been making art and craft projects for ever since I can remember. First drawing, painting and clay sculpture with my mom who did all of those things, to my grandmothers who taught me to crochet at 3 yrs, and my great grandmother who taught me to quilt and sew dolls

Then I had the fun of passing those things plus more on to my daughters and sons and now on our grandchildren. Along the way, I taught in english as well as French schools here in Manitoba, Canada and then from there, have taught workshops all around the world. Many different ones across Canada, and in the United States, as well as Bali, Indonesia, and Australia.

I have a major in music and minor in Fine arts that I have made much use of in both my music teaching and my art teaching. I love both.

Right now, I currently teach a few workshops a week for our Winnipeg Michaels store.
I am certified to teach their knitting and crochet, and their scrapbooking and most of all their jewelry courses. It is the jewelry classes that have made me change up from being a fibre artist and potter, and turn to wire and stones and all things jewelry. And along with that, comes jewelry with mixed media. So, hence comes the polymer and embroidery wire and dolls again.
I am a still a music and art teacher and I love making things for my family and friends and when they suggested I put things on Etsy to share them with people all around the world. I thought what a really neat idea. Then I started getting so many requests for tutorials for children's classes and for adults, I just loved the idea. Hope you do too.
