I say we because one day when I used to be called Unique Creation I said to my husband "I need a new name, there's too many uniques I need something different". My initial introduction to jewlery creation was my Heritage, Beadwork on a loom and earrings and on clothes. Then while attending Highschool I was introduced to the art of Lost-wax-casting, truly inspiring I loved it, among many other things.
However, now a Stay at Home Domestic Engineer (Mother of 3,Girl 7 w/ cerebral palsy & 2 very energetic boys 4 & 5),it's not ideal to have chemicals and torches around so I indulge in the wire sculpture, lowest possibility for injury.
Always had a love for beads and gemstones and seeing what I've created.
I first started making Jewlery according to my heritage (so I thought) as an adolescent. I was taught how to do beaded earrings by my little sister's aunt Kathy, she was Yakima. Later learned Lost-wax-Casting in highschool. I prefer working with wire, beads and Gemstones because it is easier for me.
