Catherine Green and Cindy Gallegos' Profile

About

I live and make these soaps in a remote area of Northern Arizona. My daughter, Cindy, helps with the computer stuff from her home in Texas.

I have been making soap for around 50 years. My mother made it and taught me how. We used to use lard which we got for almost nothing from our local butcher. Now the demand is all for vegetable oil soaps and every natural additive imaginable, with no chemicals, of course.

I have always made soap for presents and for church and girl scout bazaars and such but never thought of trying to sell it. I opened the soap shop with the encouragement of my children and friends who said " You really should sell your soap on etsy" so, here it is.
