HELLO!
I love vintage!!! I have my own collection of patterns, which I selectively make items from as my sewing skills improve. I also love knitting! I think my love of vintage patterns started when I was a little girl. To save money and as was economic for most families of the time, my mother learnt to sew for our family. Up until I was seven years old, very few clothes I had were not homemade and consisted of thoughtfully chosen fabrics, added embellishments and personalized details.

I recently became a mother myself and although, as with many people today, time is sparse, I still love to faun over patterns which are alive with the fashions and styles relished by different eras. As any collector of vintage patterns knows, it can be utterly addictive and my favorites are the Vogue Paris Originals and Vogue Couturier. I also seem to be drawn to patterns for the budoir... There are some great, fabulous peignoir, slip and lingerie patterns out there which everyone needs a little of!

The patterns of the fifties, sixties and seventies capture fashions which might otherwise be lost to moths, catalogues and memories. They are full of the potential to breath new life into old inspiration. Who can resist the possibility of a Trigere creation for a special event? A gorgeous Valentino, Patou, Desses, Bellville, Heim, Fabiani, Laroche to turn heads? The hands of masters reaching out from the past to create something beautiful, glamorous, etheral, breathtaking and most of all... Special.

Thanks for looking at my little shop, which I will stock as time wisony infant son allows.
