It all began innocently enough. Awhile back, I retaught myself to knit. As I became more entangled in the world of knitting, I noticed all the cool projects that involved felting one's knitted creations. This led to my research of the felting process and the growing use of thrift store wool sweaters to create one of a kind woolens. I was soon obsessed with searching out my local Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul stores for the best wool sweaters I could find. So many useful ways to transform these unwanted sweaters have sprung to my mind, I sometimes wonder if I'll ever get the chance to create them all.

My creative journey began early in life and has been a long and winding road. I have always been creating something, first with crayons and paper, playdoh then clay, pen, ink, paint and canvas, yarn and fabric. I have many varying passions (knitting, making costumes for my kids plays, music, baking, reading and dark chocolate, to name a few) but my love of creating fun and useful items out of an old wool sweater has stuck with me.

Besides my rampant wool addiction, I am married to a wonderful, hard working and supportive husband, and we have 3 lovely children and one sassy little dog. I am so blessed to have a large and supportive family and circle of friends.
