About

Just a girl with a dream to fashion a business out of ink and cotton.

Hi there! I created my first listing on etsy in 2009 but ignored my shop. I was shy about how to start. I took classes in screen printing and started renting studio space in Los Angeles as a few orders trickled in.

When I decided to move to the Bay Area in 2010 my crafty mission was to have the resources to set up a little home studio. Success! Just in time for the holiday season my little shop that had lied dormant for almost two years started to have activity, YAAAY! That gave me the confidence boost to introduce new designs and keep evolving my little shop.

Three years later and I have orders every day, WOO HOO! I love the etsy community and I am so grateful to be a part of it!…

I work with artists in Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX. Most recently I started moving away from graphic art and into hand drawn illustrations. I started dating Perry Shirley in March of 2013. Always a dream of mine to work with my partner and now I am. He is an incredible artist and we hope to develop our mens collection together, starting with a vintage series that is set to go live in Spring 2014. Sorry guys I have been so focused on feathers and peacocks for the girls that I have ignored my mens stuff. Oops, must be a product of having been raised by a single mom and all sisters... girl power!

My original inspiration for this shop was Surly Amy, she is a fellow etsy-er. Her background as a fine artist, her handmade ceramic jewelry and her oh so feisty spirit inspired me and encouraged me to carve out a crafty corner for myself in this community. Thanks AMY! Much love to all who visit etsy and my shop. Thank you for supporting handmade.

peace love & etsy
