About

MEET THE ARTIST:

K. Nicole Rogalski (aka Nikki) is a self-taught glass artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who eagerly jumped down the "rabbit hole" of lampworking/glass beadmaking and hasn't looked back since.

She is a "jill of all trades" when it comes to her bead style, producing bead art that is versatile, eclectic, colorful, and whimsical. Nikki began her adventures in lampworking in 2006 when she purchased her first kit and was immediately hooked. As an a well-rounded artist of pencil, oils, watercolor and polymer clay for many years, melting glass was just a natural progression for her, and like a moth to a flame, her desire to create in glass has produced colorful florals, whimsical bead designs and hand-sculpted animals.

She is a "jill of all trades" when it comes to her bead style, producing bead art that is versatile, eclectic, colorful, and whimsical. As an a well-rounded artist of pencil, oils, watercolor and polymer clay for many years, melting glass was just a natural progression for her, and like a moth to a flame, her desire to create in glass has produced colorful florals, whimsical bead designs and hand-sculpted animals.

Nikki's skills as an artist continues to grow, incorporating the use of her own murrini in her bead designs as well as adding personalized stamped metal, wirework, and jewelry design to her creative repertoire. Nikki's glass beads and jewelry have been purchased and shipped to homes located all over the world. In 2012, Nikki had the pleasure of learning valuable glass bead making tips and also learning to pull her own murrini from good friend, International Glass Bead Artist, Donna Millard of http://www.fyrebeadz.com.
