Britt Ryal's Profile

About

Photographer from Chicago, IL.

My father handed me my first camera when I was not yet of grade school age and explained to me the rule of thirds. Since that day, I don’t think a moment’s passed without a camera within my reach.

Clutching that camera as our family car navigated through the plains of Texas into the deserts of the Southwest, and looping back through the Rocky Mountains, there was no hesitation in my affinity for capturing the beauty all around me, something that has lingered strong to this day. My work encompasses a wide variety of locations and subjects but tends to follow themes of Americana, as this has been my lifelong obsession.
