I began making jewelry at the age of 10 when my mom bought me some tubes of beads. Since then I obtained a PhD in nutrition. Thus my business name "The Beading Nutritionist". I create and sell my jewelry in addition to an academic career. I sell my work at two venues on the weekends and sometimes participate in art fairs. I am active in my community, body build & raise guinea pigs (my babies).
I believe what makes my jewelry special is my unique bead combinations (type, color, texture, shape, finish, size). Although I enjoy stringing, I consider myself an expert at wire (or gallery) wrapping and most enjoy using this technique.
